Riders for Homes, a volunteer group made up for police officers and bikers, is partnering with The Key Alliance and the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission to organize a Poker Run.
The 2012 Poker Run is scheduled for
August 11, 2012 (rain date: August 18)
Start and finish will be at Boswell’s Harley-Davidson, 401 Fesslers Lane.
The Route is as follows:

1st stop Boswell
2nd stop Loveless Café
3rd stop Harley Davidson-Cool Springs
4th stop Arrington Vineyards
Return to Boswell
Registration fee is $20 per bike and $10 per passenger. Please, fill our this Registration Form and send it along with a check made out to “The Key Alliance/Poker Run.” You can also just come to the event and register at Boswell’s.
Check in at Boswell’s will start at 10 a.m.
After the event, at approximately 3 p.m., we will have a free concert and an award celebration.
Our first prize winner will receive $200. Second prize is $150; third prize is a $100-gift card; and we also will hold a raffle for a 32-inch flat screen TV.
All proceeds will benefit Housing First, a nationally recognized model that provides permanent housing to some of our most vulnerable homeless neighbors and connects them with needed services. Our Housing First Fomula of Success is:
Housing + Case Management + Income = A Reduction in Homelessness.
Riding for Homes recognizes the need for us as a community to come together to address issues of homelessness. We believe that together as a community we can end chronic homelessness and reduce overall homelessness.
